Consultations and Clinical Inquiries:
All clinical services are under the direct supervision or provision of Michael Abruzzese, M.A., M.A., Ph.D., HSPP. Dr. Abruzzese is a licensed clinical psychologist and health services provider and also a licensed Massachusetts school psychologist specially trained to provide behavioral health care services to both children and adults. He is a former Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School and part-time lecturer and Clinical Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. Dr Abruzzese has presented training workshops nationally and internationally.
Dr. Abruzzese earned his Masters Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology/Child Study from Tufts University and later earned his Masters Degree in School Psychology from Hofstra University. He also earned his Ph.D. Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University as well.
Dr. Abruzzese obtained advanced training in pediatric and adult neuropsychology at the Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts Mental Health Center; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Clinical Research Center; the City University of New York and New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Dr Abruzzese also obtained specialized and post-graduate training in child psychology, community and cross-cultural psychology and crisis intervention/emergency psychological services while at the Center for Multi-Cultural Training in Psychology at Boston University School of Medicine/Boston City Hospital. He is also a Clinical Instructor at the Tufts University School of Medicine and he is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

Self-Pay Or Insurance?
Payment is expected at the time of service. We offer a private pay option for individuals not covered by insurance or not wishing to utilize their insurance benefit for reasons of confidentiality, privacy or personal preference.
If you plan on utilizing any insurance benefit, you must contact our billing office in advance to ensure that insurance usage for the intended service request is permitted.
All our insurance pre-approval and coordination is conducted by Contemporary Management Services, Inc. Please contact them directly to inquire about insurance coverage and pre-authorization at 1-800-946-1101.
We accept all Massachusetts Blue Cross Blue Shield Products, including Personal Help Connection Network, Managed Care Behavioral Health Network (HMO), Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Indemnity products, except for Medicare products.
We also accept Rhode Island Blue Cross Blue Shield Products, including: BlueCHIP Coordinated Health Plan, BlueCHIP for Medicare, BlueCHIP for RIte Care, Classic/Major Medical. HealthMate, HealthMate Coast to Coast, all products supported by the Preferred Blue Network, Plan 65 & Plan 65 Select.
